$2
per poem/original writing piece
My friends know this, but at my heart, I am a writer. I have little hard cover books I made from as early as first grade and I've been winning writing awards since fifth grade.  Writing is in my soul.  BUT!  I don't want to make a living as a writer.  I want writing to be something I do for me or to share with people, but not to be something that has the pressure of being my main source of income.

Because of this, I've tried working on various free visual novel projects, but they usually stagnate for one reason or the other.  I have so many abandoned outlines; it's sad.

My answer to this is to try to spearhead writing projects for myself done by myself.  This means using my own determination to write poems, original fiction, blog posts, experimental pieces, whatever.

However, I feel limited by wanting to write content that people will read right now and generally write fanfiction or when I can play enough of a game, game reviews.  I'm happy to write these things.  I love writing!  I will always write these things.  But I want to write stuff that is just for me and have a place where I can feel like people might actually want to read that.  I think Patreon is the answer to that.

I am not sure what kind of a response this will get.  I am not a well known writer.  You can find some of my stuff at my general blogmy WIP blog, and my AO3 account.  You can tell that I am not a particularly consistent writer.  Patreon should change that.

Your support will help boost my morale and encourage me to create more original content.  There are currently two pledge levels, but if you want a special perk, just message me somewhere and we'll work something out.  I do not expect everyone to be able to financially support me!  I would be supremely happy and encouraged if you guys would spread the word about my Patreon or my writing.  It'd be nice to get a non-spam comment on my WIP blog.

Finally, I know that my Patreon is paid per work.  As a result, I encourage you all to place a cap on how much you're willing to spend in a given month.  I'm not quite sure how often I will be completing pieces, but it's better to be safe than sorry.  I'd hate for you to be in a situation where you're spending more than you'd like to in order to support me.
