About Christine Currie

Art Farm Fennville. The premise of Artist Colony comes to mind. The beauty of a small town art community in middle America with firefly lit evenings and poetry workshops that host visiting authors in the summer and fall.
We like to extend the offer to host more Farm to Fork events highlighting locally grown music, food, and Artisans of all stripe.
Art Farm Fennville follows closely on the heels of the neighboring Ox-Bow School of Art, a local fixture for over one hundred years offers a source of artist-educators-artisans that are the local creative community.
Community can take many forms, curiosity and exploration within the creative process is my goal. The pastoral setting @artfarmfennville is ideal for artistic workshops held in a converted barn and around the beautiful ponds and sculpture garden.
The Artisan Roasted Coffee Educational Workshops help democratize the magic of great coffee.
Artisan Coffee is roasted on-site weekly in the new Chicken Coop Cupping Workshop. Coffee Education with a beautiful vista of pond, art and workshop space. There's a rustic writer retreat Cabin available, booked through hipcamp.

We’ve offered hands-on learning experiences for all ages. Foraging Workshops. Plein-Air Painting.
There's a Gazebo with art supplies and a place to free-range journal.
Bon-fire poetry readings in the summer .

The seasonal offerings for 2019 include music events, an Earth Day Tea @artfarmfennville
Make a Compost Tea for your garden, learn how to construct a worm bin, compost and proper protocol on how to feed it. Yoga and movement classes out in the fresh air, watch water fowl take flight from the nearby ponds. Tiny house builders and Woofers onsite. Be inspired by a community of artisan locavores. Cheese makers, herbal remedies, the best of small town vibe like your own miniature farmers market meet makers market. Class on Fermentation and Kombutcha's in August. All Hands On, Take home what you create.

Think peaceful with creative possibilities.

Enjoy a session with an author led workshop around Foraging. The authentic nature of Art Farm Fennville lends itself to discovering the Art of Composting. Feral Farmer and Sculptor Christine Currie lead a local-vore delight with experts in the field of land management and sustainable building setting up saw milling sessions of local hardwoods for custom furniture and discuss local resources and answer your questions.
