Balkanist Magazine

Balkanist's aim is to provide entirely independent, uncompromising coverage of the Balkan region and everything to its east. We want to significantly increase our output and expand and professionalize our work over the course of the next several months. We are currently headquartered in Belgrade in a hostile media environment. We are independent, and have never been affiliated with or accepted money from any government or quasi-autonomous non-governmental organization.
