Andrew Denton Right until the very end, I thought that the next episode was to be about Akira Kurosawa's Ran.

Terry Phanatics I love your videos very much. And despite not liking Shakespeare very much, I really enjoy watching your Shakespeare Month videos which, while not making me like the original plays very much, gives me appreciation to the Bard's impact on the artistic world. In any case, thank you for all your hard work.

Matthew Kay I've just got to say that your telling of Adachigahara was impeccably put together. Loved the whole review, but absolutely adored that part!

Matthew Kay That's really interesting, to take a look at how we as an audience can find this sort of story so absurd and even funny, especially when, over the top as the play's story is, the first thing that popped into my head when you went over it was Game of Thrones, which audiences for the most part do take seriously and with an appropriate sense of tragedy. Until you got to the pies at which point, yes, I thought of Scott Tenorman Must Die. Great review

Michelle Rapp This was amazing. As someone who briefly studied Elvish/fictitious languages in college (and has Klingon birds of prey tattooed on her right arm), you've made me immensely happy. :-D

Adam Pilfold-Bagwell So this is less faithful to Hamlet than the porno one you did was to A Midsummer Night's Dream?

De Huh, my brother and I loved the Lion King when we were kids but I never really thought about the story in all these years, even though it's the only Disney movie (aside from Fantasia) that I ever liked growing up (oh, and Hocus Pocus but that's live action). That's why it's good to watch videos like this. The ending of this video makes me think about how people have come to regard Shakespeare as a kind of god of literature and how much is lost by taking him out of the context of his own time and the people he worked with his, his fellow actors and playwrights and even his co-authors.
