Romeo Crow We liked it as is in my house - Mina was dancing to it! Had her little hand in the air, finger pointing, swaying left and right - clapped when it finished, then asked for it again :)

Eli Payne Dude this is fricking awesome. It's one of my fave songs anyway (though I have a cover by Kris Allen, not the original). I love how it sounds with your voice and Yana's. It's like it was written for you two. Real life goosebumps appeared mid yoga. Next question; will we be able to download this at some point? Pretty please? Many hugs and healing vibes heading your way buddy, Namaste x

Nate Maingard Aaaah Eli, you commented, haha! Love a good guilt trip ;). Kidding, you totally rock and I had no expectations, hehe. I'm sure I can work out a way to offer a download for y'all. It may have to wait until my hand is healed so Yana and I can work on it and record a home demo version :). Big hugs you wonderful lady! N

Eli Payne Well, you know, yoga goosebumps are pretty rare, figured it deserved a comment :p a download of this would make me hugely happy. I'm on my way to see my grandparents who live 40 minutes away, and I'm listening to it on repeat. I'm so excited to see what else you guys come up with together. It's going to be awesome!

Beatrice Luna Oh my. This makes me feel deeply, both poem and picture. The picture makes me homesick, wishing to be amongst the trees, the streams, and the wildlife, which is where I feel most alive. The poem conveyed emotion, it seemed to just hit home for me.

Elena Petriconi Woohoo to 60 Patrons:D Now at 61 and growing steadily. See, I told ya it would pick up! So happy to be a part of it<3 Great 1st lyrical video! I like the simplicity of it, puts more focus on the wonderful lyrics. The rushing scenery made me feel a little dizzy, haha! I guess shadows are quick to leap out infront of us when we least expect, no matter how hard we try to ignore our past. We rush through life in hope of having enough distraction from our demons. Looking forward to the next one:) Big thumbs up from me! Warm hugs X

J Nate, this is just simply beautiful. Easily in my top 3 of your creations on Patreon thus far. The acoustics of the stairwell allow your tone to resonate with just the right balance. Most of your songs are very clearly written from a first-person perspective and I love the vulnerability of that. This though, this was like watching an actor take on a character that is so far from their persona but still deliver the role in such a believable way. I'm waiting in anticipation for the download, my friend. Much love!

J Nate, it's happily residing in my current playlist rotation. Glad you're able to enjoy some time on our side of the pond. Hope it is everything you're wishing for it to be. I know you're spending most of it out west but if you should hit up the NY area before all is said and done, just let me know. I've got a small place but a few traveling musical souls have found some good night's sleep on my couch and I'd be happy to host you as well :) Hugs!

Elena Petriconi I always enjoy your poems. You have a unique way of capturing the beauty in the ordinary. This poem is especially lovely. Living in Scotland, it's easy to overlook the importance and beauty of water as it basically rains here 360 days out of the year! I love the line "Every raindrop is a traveller and a storyteller", and how you've humanised it- it's gone through a tremendous journey, changing the landscape as it goes along, just like people (we change through the people that come in and out of our lives). Rain has it's own cycle, like the cycle of life, and all that wouldn't be possible without water, the essence of life. Thank you for reminding me to appreciate it! Beautiful photo! Sad to hear about your childhood home having to be sold:( The same shall be happening to me soon, so I know how you feel. I guess we have to go along with the rhythm of life, change is inevitable.

Nate Maingard Elena, thank you for taking the time to speak so beautifully about this poem. It's an incredible sensation, to have this work reflected back at me by such lovely people. You're all so eloquent and deep-feeling...just like me :). It's totally rad to have you on board, YAY! Sorry to hear about your family home. Yes, all things must pass. Good lessons in their, though not easy to learn sometimes. I'm happy to have reminded you of how awesome water is...even though you get so much of it already hehe.
