It’s pronounced “unique”, let's just get that out of the way lol

I’m a female, African American, illustrator, with my work mainly being digital vector art. With a Bachelors in Fine Arts from Columbia College of Chicago. My style is very cute and bright, very kawaii influenced. But I’m also what you might call an “all rounder.” Meaning I’ve tried or work with a variety of mediums, such as felting wool, fabric, and tactile design. 99.9% of the time I end up making plush toys. There is something about a physical fabrication that people can hold that makes me feel like my art has come full circle. So I don’t just illustrate, I create using a variety of mediums that don’t rely on a computer.

I wanted to make this Patreon for the future of my artist career. I don’t plan on doing much with it right now, but hopefully some time soon. Can’t be too prepared I suppose. I’m not sure how this platform works atm, but very too late to learn. I’m learning how to use Reddit, might as well add Patreon on the to-do list. I have big plans for myself in the future. I want to be self-employed, working from home, in a lush studio, selling merch online, and doing conventions every now and again. There is so much I want to do, but there’s no need to rush. Little be little is fast enough for me and quite fulfilling when looking at the bigger picture. If I got it all at once than I probably wouldn’t appreciate it as much.

But I’ll see you guys soon!
