Thank you for taking a moment to visit my Patreon page, what I do wouldn’t be possible without an audience of loyal flashaholics, and gear nuts like you. Reviewing gear and flashlights started as a hobby a few years back and has grown into something that consumes a lot of my free time (for better or worse). Contrary to what some publicly available metrics pages say, you have a significant number of views and subscribers to let your videos break even when you factor in the time it takes to write a review along with testing, film a video, take photos, and edit a review for publication. Ad revenue is also very undependable and fluxuates wildly month to month.

The #1 thing I will do with any donated funds is buy equipment. Here are a few things I am currently considering. A way to measure lumens in a controlled and accurate manner, a mooshimeter to record voltages and amperage at the same time, possibly a low cost oscilloscope to measure flicker. A new DSLR/Video camera is something I am thinking about as well with better low light performance and better autofocus in video modes, right now that’s not something I can justify cost wise.

Some things I would like to do for Patreon members as this audience grows, I would like to get some stickers printed and send them out to certain donation levels. Do Patreon supporter giveaways for flashlights and other gear once and awhile. I would also like to have a closer connection with viewers/readers for more feedback, and suggestions. If you have any ideas I would love to hear them.
