From the Mind of Klink It goes without saying that hearing you read this and reading it for myself on your Tumblr are completely different experiences. When I first read the story I tried to imagine a young Nika standing in front her peers in drama class. I tried to picture the emotions, the feelings, the importance of the book that clearly means so much to her. Having now heard the story through your own voice, your own inflections and emotions and seeing slight tears in your eyes, I was completely wrong. That much was apparent in the last line; the importance of those words to me means nothing to what it means to you. Next to Halland this is one of my favourite stories. I love that you're having fun expanding your range of writing styles; from horror to sci-fi to fairy tales to personal memoirs. I also love watching you grow as an author with every passing day. I know I'm rambling but I'll end with this: I'm glad, I'm happy and I'm proud to be a patron of yours. Bring on your novella, bring on your Twine game, bring on Wordplay and bring on more stories! :D

Ian Balmbra Very wonderful attention to detail! If there's one thing I like in any one's writing its attention to detail. I've always seen Ray Bradbury as being an individual who could create one of the best worlds to escape into with his use of descriptive words but you're doing an amazing job, too! With your habit of drinking wine sometimes, though, I found myself even thinking of you as the person in the bar - or at least one of your close friends. It made it a little more personable, I suppose, its not a bad thing at all! And it even got me to thinking about a question I asked you on Tumblr recently in which I asked if it was a valid technique to put yourself in your writing sometimes... I guess this could be seen as a possible example of you doing that in a way, and since you've done so wonderfully at it I hope that I will be able to at some point, myself. Keep up the amazing work, I always enjoy listening to or reading your writing.

Gary Marical Love the story. Read it once and listen to it twice.

Brady Wiltfong I liked it quite a bit, when I read it I picked more of a bleak hopelessness and sort of malaise. The sullen anger you inflected as you read was a nice touch, an improvement over reading alone to be sure.
