Who are you?

I'm a video editor, journalist, and writer that takes joy in covering topics and events for others that enjoy some of the same things I like. Music, history, entertainment, and sports are my forté.

My videos focus on interviews with people in the United States, South Korea and Japan and their contribution to their craft(s) and/or passion(s).

What is your MAIN goal?

I have a documentary that i've been working on since January 2014 and I want to have it ready by early to mid-2015. It's about my family's involvement in the 1968 Memphis Sanitation Strike, a movement that doesn't get much mainstream attention. I found out about how important this moment in United States history was after my return from South Korea and I feel the need to get my family and their associate's voice out there.

Slow your role, jack! You've been making videos since 2012! Why are you now using Patreon?

My videos are free. If you donate a dollar, you can watch my content earlier than everyone else. If you don't, you'll still get my content, you'll just have to wait later.

You'll still get the video. For free (that magic word again).

I don't expect everybody to donate a dollar and I'm very thankful for everyone who does, but it's not essential for the existence of my works for you to do so.

I'm doing this as a means to showcase my skills as a reporter, videographer, and editor and I want to provide content as a means to support my project.

I plan to make two videos a month. NO MORE THAN THAT.

The gas barons are some evil mofos so I need a bit of help getting from point A to point B (and on weekends point C).
