William Smith You always cover songs from bands that sound pretty obscure (or maybe I dont have my finger on the pulse of indie music) how do you find such bands?! this cover is so killer!

David Mencarini Just catching up on stuff and enjoyed this song for the first time today. Nice job and good choice for a cover. Hard to miss on a Jayhawks song. Great band.

Xavier Happy new year Cara! I really enjoyed the way you frame cultural context in this one, I think one of the wonderful things about Embed is to not only read about a particular dev but their environment and cultural background also. I look forward to the book, a book signing in Paris would be awesome if you're still there when it's out! On a side note, I also enjoy reading your tweets and you blocked me on twitter, last thing I sent your way was this: https://twitter.com/g7o7/status/550354184713687042 I promise to not drunkenly tweet at you anymore =( Regardless, wish you all the best for 2015 and I hope you're enjoying your time in France (don't trust those Parisian jerks though, they're the worst! :p)

Tim Sessanna I love both the Big Star original and Elliott's cover (which I think I heard on the Thumbsucker soundtrack), and this is true to how I imagined you'd do it. :) Thanks Lauren <33

David Mencarini Very nice version. I will have to seek out the Elliott Smith version. Big Star is a very under-appreciated band from the early 70's. Thanks Lauren.

Stephen Mesa Wow, this is incredibly done! I have listened to it many many times now. You've totally done it justice. Side note: this may sound absurd, but my brand new son was super fussy and crying when I turned this on and it mesmerized him! Your music is so magical it soothes crying babies!

Cara Ellison Hmm. Yeah you can emulate it. The multiplayer was excellent. My fav multiplayer level was 'Grid' I think? The elevator in the middle was the piece de resistance!

Cara Ellison The thing about PD is that the plot/narrative is a bit batshit, like the story was just a kind of weird Haloesque mix of too young and too silly with noir tropes?? It's an odd one. But the combat is solid.
