Ricercar by Degli Antonii with sheet music

Hi patrons,

A lot of people expressed enthusiasm when I posted a video including the sheet music, so I thought I'd do another one with this really old facsimile. I got to know these pieces a few years ago when I was recording my first album, BASS SOUNDS, and I still come back to them from time to time. I'm also playing around with using multiple cameras now.

Geminiani Sonata, slow movement

Hi patrons,
Here is one of my favorite movements from the Geminiani sonatas. I've added my usual talking bit to the end of the video as some people express wanting to hear the music first. Let me know what you think of this. This is also my first video edited in Adobe Premiere, a huge upgrade from iMovie, which I've used up til now. I'm excited to see where I can take my videos now that I'm using better software.

Improvising on La Folia

A few weeks ago I made a video about improvising over "ground bass" patterns, which were popular bass lines from the baroque period. The video was very popular, so I decided to do another one using one of the most popular ground basses. I love coming up with these little improvisations and getting to pretend I'm a composer! Another Vivaldi sonata, accompanying myself

I had so much fun doing my other video of a Vivaldi sonata that I wanted to try another. I love being able to accompany myself like this and I'm getting better at working out the technical aspects of putting the video together. Enjoy!

Vivaldi Sonata in E minor, with myself!

Hi patrons, I'm really excited about this video! This is my first one where I actually play both the solo line and the continuo part myself. I've fantasized about doing this but knew it would take a bit more editing and recording experience. I still have more to learn and ways to polish this, but I'm really excited to have pulled this off! I'm looking forward to recording more sonatas this way soon. -Emily
