Hi, my name's Dan, and i'm creating a scifi game! I'm slightly crazy so the ideas I come up with often baffle people. But that's cool I'll use that to my advantage and morph them into some cool space ideas! Who wouldn't love to try a 26th century Mango Rocket?

Set inside the TAO universe (Together As One), i'm creating a single player game combining my two absolute favourite genres, FPS and puzzler. I'm also a fan of story telling over mindless repetitive gameplay, therefore my goal is to expose the player to lots of story snippets about life in TAO and character development along the way, while keeping it challenging. Sure I'm not perfect and it might not come out amazing, but I refuse to give up until i've finished this game and put it out there, i'm too stubborn.



As for the game name, I don't like how creations are often numbered, for example:
Epic Game 1, Epic Game 2, Epic Game 3: more epicness than before

So I've chosen to name my installments after elements, this game is to be called:
Together As One: Carbon (TAO:Carbon)

The game consists of 4 stages: an opening 3D cutscene, a first act set in a city environment, a second act set in a different environment (no spoilers yet), and then an ending cutscene. My time is a bit limited, and I am currently working solo on this but I still put alot of time in each month. I've also chosen to go with a nice low poly art style for two reasons: it's acheivable for one person, with good lighting low poly can look really nice (that's the style i'm after), and to show proof of concept overall.

More description to come... Sorry I can't offer any rewards just yet, I definitely want to think of something cool and meaningful for you guys for sure!
