I've always wanted to work with Worbla but at $80/sheet I've never had the means to do so. At $300/month I will finally let myself work with Worbla (and document the process, of course)
Buy a Table Saw
At $500/month I'll be able to justify a table saw! Which would really help on those bigger wood working projects (do we dooooo)

WHAT ARE YOU DOING?
Excellent question! Welcome to Patreon~ a fund-raising site/social network tool that connects creators with their fans.
There are FAQs for the site, but basically you can pledge a dollar amount to help the artists that you want to support. I'm still going to make art and post it, but this website helps you help me have the means to do so.
WHAT DO YOU DO?
I do a whole bunch of different things, actually, but most of them revolve around bringing fictional characters and worlds to life. Sounds cheesy, I know, but I specialize in cosplaying (dressing up as characters), prop work (making what the characters are holding), and set recreations (painting my house to look like where the characters are). I don't like to do too much of the same thing, so my content is always changing. It keeps me both entertained and interesting so that's what I do.
WHAT DO YOU GET FROM ALL OF THIS?
The hardest part of art is affording materials. Paint and fabric and wood all cost a lot of money! I hope that I can use Patreon to offset the cost of production.

You get the satisfaction of helping an artist make art.
.....and also there will be perks for patrons, such as patron-only posts, behind the scenes pictures, tutorials, and other awesome perks that may pop up along the way.

I'm really just hoping for kindness on this one, actually. If you have the means to pledge $5/month or $20/month then I'd be so grateful for your generosity, but I don't want to exclude anybody who is willing to donate even a dollar.

If you would like to pledge more than a dollar because you really believe that what we're doing with art is something you'd like to get behind then I will offer you my sincerest gratitude.
We've just recently moved to LA and it's been tough trying to find a place to live, much less a job, and I'm afraid that extracurriculars like painting and sewing will be the first things to boot in favor of rent and food.
I'm really turning to Patreon as a last resort type of deal. If I can somehow find money here to make art, then I will.
