Kathleen F Anderson Dear Kevin, Please don't apologize for not putting out videos on some kind of frequently scheduled assembly line. This video on the Gender Pay Gap would take most people months to put together, and from the depth of your awareness I'm sure it did for you too. Stop apologizing! On the other hand, your editing is impeccable! It's not only what you have to say, it's the fact that my rather conservative friends and relatives can stick with your beat and hear more than they might in a more didactic presentation. Virginia McClain Woot! I had never heard of subbable, but I had subscribed to your youtube channel ages ago. Then I found Patreon thanks to Amanda Palmer, and then in a perfect configuration of spacetime, I found your Patreon page in the list of new content creators on Patreon after the merge. So happy to be contributing to you being able to do this full time!! I wish I could do more, but I'm trying to make writing full time work, and am very short on funds. Derek Grant I'm a single school teacher which means I have a little bit of time and a little bit of disposable income. I like the Patreon model a lot which is why I signed up. I hadn't heard of it before your videos, but whatever. I don't really mind end-of-video sponsorship messages either. I like how you dive straight in to your videos w/o a lot of repeated BS at the beginning. Thx for that. I find yours to be a very interesting voice on many issues, thanks even more for that. :D

Juli You know, I was all prepared to be angry when I started this video. (what can I say, the "gamer industry and misogyny just pushes my buttons ; ) But as I listened, I really stated thinking and processing and I am *so* glad I heard out the entire video. Thank you Kevin for doing the truly difficult, rare, and occasionally impossible; Making people *think* about an issue in an intelligent, thoughtful way and not just contribute to the already raging conflict.

Kimberley Ford A very good point, Kevin, about some people immediately turning negative at the mention of feminism. I experience this from some women at the very mention of the word and wonder what messages are actually being received. I am sure the women I know do not object to being considered people, and would be horrified if they realised how big their misunderstanding was. It's just so hard to get past that immediate wall that gets thrown up.

Kathleen F Anderson Thanks for the explanation, Kevin, but I've noticed that I haven't heard from you. So before I heard your excuse I thought when I listened to this video, "WOW, this is so well done, of course it's taken him a while to put it out." I don't for a minute believe that, technical difficulties or not, that, "Oh well, it was merely technical difficulties and he just whips these things out." Aside from my meanderings, this is a great piece. I love your attitude, your processes, your involvement. You deserve all success. Thank you. I know any number of people I'd like to hear you.
