Over the last several years I have noticed a troubling lack of true "X's and O's" video content available on major networks for football fans that want to learn the finer details of the game. Sure, we might get a few arrows pointing to a player on a 30 second highlight tape here and there, but rarely do we as an industry take the time to really break the game down the way that coaches do in meeting rooms all across the league. Above all else, football fans love to actually LEARN about their favorite sport while they watch it. Knowledge about every team, every player, and every position empowers them to become the best fans they can be, but as of yet no major content producers have gone out of their way to provide that style of content to their audience.

My goal with this campaign, as you may have guessed, is to fill that role in the sports media landscape. I have dabbled in making my own video content on the side for the last couple of years, but never before have I really considered it a legitimate possibility to do this full time. Each video takes somewhere between 50-90 hours to complete (quarterbacks always take the longest, of course), and only being able to put out maybe one video per week seemed rather unsustainable when it came to generating revenue. That is when I learned about Patreon and all of the benefits it gives to content producers who release longer, more time-consuming projects for their fans to enjoy.

I come before you as a football fan and video producer with one dream - make a full time living out of teaching my subscribers about the sport we all love so dearly. To everyone who already signed up as my patrons, thank you for your support! It really is hard to put into words just what this means to me and all of the football fans who enjoy my content. As this channel grows, hopefully we can all spearhead this new breed of sports content together!

If this goal were to be achieved, I would at long last have a level of base income that would allow me to pursue this channel as a full-time opportunity. That means more hours to do film study, more hours to make videos, and more content for everyone to enjoy. That's the dream!
