Brett W. McCoy is a composer and artist living in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, DC.
He has been studying music since 1981, and spent several years in formal guitar lessons, with a focus on jazz and classical styles. Subsequent to that, Brett studied many different musical styles, including medieval & Renaissance, Middle Eastern, jazz, blues, folk, progressive rock, heavy metal and orchestral/symphonic styles. He is also a digital painter and designer and works almost exclusively with Linux for all multimedia projects.

He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Professional Studies degree in Music Composition for Film and TV through Berklee College
