Larvah Would have been nice to see this come out at some point, for us as well as for the developer. I think the second bigest mistakes was making a completely new engine for the game, things could have started that much faster with it and the assets could still have been ported over to a different engine if whatever the chose was too limited. - well it is pointless of me saying this because the def already knows it but i don't know if they know how severe their biggest mistake hit them. The severe lack of communication has broken their community. The sad thing is that there is the project 'roundscape', which is the perfect comparison to this one. They both were on offbeatr only 1 month appart, both went to patreon some time after but the lack of communication turned the big lead this project had (20k more raised on the initial campaining) into a slow dwindling of patrons while roundscape is soaring high. This project could have been just like roundscape if not even greater, the systems are not more complex than roundscape and they both had the same audience. This game could have been (and maybe still can be) great for patreon: The patreon of this game would never have to end, even after the core game was finished, the concept is just so redicously expAndable. Just add a new creature with a short story and a sexy scene every second month and a small region or an additional scene for an existing creature every other month. Patreons of a high enough tier could vote on which concept would be the next to be added and patreons of a higher tier could add their own concept to the mix. I write this in hopes that it will show the Def sees the potential this has once it is finished. All it takes for a successful patreon are 2 posts a month, they don't need to be game-changing they just need to let people know that the project is not dead. Now we all know that trust is at a low for this project so it will take some time of consistant posts for it to regenerate. I hope the Def also sees how the times of radio silence hurt the project. Right now i have put a lot more work into your patreon than you yourself did this month. Yes maybe you have worked on the game but as long as you don't work on the patreon people don't know that. just pop in here once a week maybe every time when you stop working on the project and write 2 lines before leaving the pc, just write what you are thinking about the project at the moment or what you are strugling with. make a habbit of it and i promise you people will come back.

Del Morpha 110% agree with all of this and will and am making a conscious effort to improve here. With what I've just said in a very late post I do really, really mean that I am working towards this. As for the Patreon expansion idea, and the regeneration of interest and everyones support, again I'm wanting to make that a reality! By just admitting to myself I can't handle this alone and, now I can afford to again, hiring people to fill in the gaps, it's made a big difference to my own mental state about the project and I've found myself wanting to get things done even more. I love this project still and it hopefully will come out with why I am still plugging away to keep the game on-track and heading towards completion.
