About

A Free Drawing (Almost) Every Day

Hello and thank you for visiting.

I'm doing a drawing pretty often, almost every day, for free.

In most cases the daily drawing will be the next panel in my current ongoing comic story, written, drawn, and even lettered, by me. Once in a great while the daily installment will be in color, courtesy of colorist Brad Thomte.

And sometimes it will simply be a standalone drawing or sketch.

Now here's the big catch: Even though this is a free site, I do take tips. It takes a lot of hard work to do a drawing a day and I'm not at all averse to getting paid for it. If you also agree these illustrations and ongoing stories have value, feel free to select a tip amount over there, to the side, and let me have it.

Yeah, I know, the way the buttons are set up implies there are specific rewards with each level of subscription, but that's just the labeling they've chosen. Under my system, you aren't actually subscribing, you're tipping for the really ripping great tale you've read (and continue to read). There are no additional rewards beyond the story itself. But, since the story itself contains worlds beyond numbering, that ain't so bad, neh?

By the way, I suppose I should mention my name is Bill Willingham. If you already recognize the name, it's most likely because I created and wrote a comic book series called Fables for the past (or at least recent) thirteen years. In its run Fables won a number of awards and I got to become a New York Times Bestselling writer, so not bad, huh?

But I also draw.

Which is why we're here.

Here's a helpful note: The way this site works, the most recent posts are at the top of the scroll. The current story starts on January 1st of 2018, so you may have to scroll down a ways to read it in order.

Goals
20 of 100 patrons
They want us to have goals, and I do. But most of my goals cannot be measured in the ways they've set up. For example, my biggest goal with this page is to have lots of people dropping in (either daily, or from time to time) to follow the ongoing comic story. How do I measure that goal?

But I tell you what. When I get a hundred people throwing at least a buck each into the tip jar every month, I'll post an inventive thank you video. How's that?
