About Otherworld Theatre
Hello Otherworlders!
Welcome to our Patreon Page, home to Otherworld- a theatre dedicated to the performance of Science Fiction and Fantasy Plays. Since December 2012, we have created:
• An artistic home for Science Fiction and Fantasy performance at 3914 N. Clark Street in Chicago, IL.
• Creating Juggernaut: A Sci-Fi and Fantasy Short Film Festival featuring innovative filmmakers from around the world
• Paragon, A Sci-Fi and Fantasy Short Play Festival, where we produce 40 plays in 2 days
We've been very fortunate to be able to build this amazing company, but we also yearn to grow and expand- from upgrading equipment, hiring actors, renting space, etc. We're a very small group and we tend to overextend ourselves both physically and monetarily, doing everything from acting to directing to building all our own props and sets.
We've kept our Patreon pledge tiers low because we know there is a lot of other causes and people to give to. Right now, just think of this as donations that give you a little something back as a thank you for continuing to watch and support what we do.
