"Dioram" is almost "diorama."

Dioram is a game-producing studio that's always meant to be perched somewhere between the realms of software and toys. By definition, a good Dioram game is always full of shadows, creating a sensation that you're moving around inside a real model, made of real materials.

You can find plenty of games with outrageous polygon counts, unbelievable shadow effects, and ever-sharper textures, and Dioram wasn't started because it's indispensable. It's a labor of love, made in Ohio, and was not created by asking for permission, or because of a perceived market demand. It has thrived with only a handful of developers, and a minimal amount of technology.

All Dioram games are currently free to play and download, and if you like what you see, you can reward the people who helped make it succeed! Don't stress over the thought of monthly giving - a few bucks is enough to create a significant reward!

The latest Dioram game, I.Q. & Stretcher, is a sci-fi point-and-click game, featuring aliens who travel along an invasive pipeline, and they must find out where it came from (and if you're wondering, no - it's not a tar sands pipe). The game is broken into 100 short chapters, and you can try any of them out through iqandstretcher.com

And for more games like this, there's always:
