In March 2016, my husband left me unexpectedly, starting a contentious and expensive divorce. In the next month, my contract job ended (and thus my income disappeared), and I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder that I have been struggling to get under control. I have finally had some success getting my autoimmune disorder in remission, but it was an expensive and painful journey.

It has been a long and difficult 6 months, and I am so, so close to having a job and getting my life back on track despite these major setbacks.

This is a process, and I need to keep my pets in kibble and litter until I get there. Money from this Patreon goes first to my wonderful pets. I have two greyhounds, Helo and Apollo, and two tiny black cats, Starbuck and Athena. After that, money goes to bills to make sure that I keep my house and car and am set up for success once I get there. Finally, any leftover money goes to me, to give me meals that aren't Soylent and rice.

Thank you so much for your help in this difficult time.
