Hello to all my friends here,
and thanks for joining me on the journey to learning Chinese idioms.

Let me take a moment to tell you a little bit about myself and why I decided to start this podcast.
I’m a part-time English teacher and a mother.
I work every evening teaching at a cram school, and spend my days with my child, finding the time to write these articles, then recording them after midnight.
As you can guess, I’m quite a slow producer as my recording time and working time are limited.
The reason I started this podcast is because I found that Chinese idioms can easily kill a Chinese learner's confidence, as they were never taught how to use them properly, and not many teachers out there are teaching them.

I started this podcast purely for the enjoyment of sharing my love of Chinese language and idioms.
Because I realized that my time is too limited to help each person individually, I decided a podcast was the best way to share this love to a broader audience.

My goal for starting this Patreon site is primarily to give people who like learning Chinese idioms a platform to communicate with me.
While I will always make this podcast free for all, I greatly appreciate any support – no matter how small - from generous listeners, to help me to continue producing content and keep sharing this passion with others.
