Hello, I'm Jack Graham, writer of the established blog Shabogan Graffiti, which is now one strand of Eruditorum Press

You can find all my work here.

I don't have a specific focus, but write about anything that takes my fancy, usually to do with current politics and/or media.  Lately I've been writing a lot about the Austrian School of economics, libertarianism, and the alt-Right - all from a Marxist perspective.  I recently co-authored an essay on this subject in Elizabeth Sandifer's book Neoreaction a Basilisk.

I've written about loads of other stuff, from Shakespeare to Doctor Who, from horror films to Star Wars, from Harry Potter to fascism, from Margaret Thatcher to Alien, from Lovecraft to Fidel Castro, from Starship Troopers to Donald Trump.

My perspective is 'Gothic Marxism' (a term I stole from Margaret Cohen via China Miéville) combined with Marxist-Humanism, founded by Raya Dunayevskaya.

I also host the Shabcast, a podcast in which I chat with a different interesting person every time about something we both find interesting.  Topics so far have ranged from John Dee to Idiocracy, from Kesha to Stephen King, from Macbeth to Jim Henson movies, from The Matrix to Alice in Wonderland.

I regularly produce four substantial pieces of work every month - generally three long pieces of writing (word lengths in the thousands) and one Shabcast (usually a couple of hours long).

I also write fiction and am working on two novels, some chapters of which I have posted at the blog.

If you're interested in helping me continue to create content for free, I'd be very grateful for your kind contribution.  Sponsors will get exclusive access to work in advance of publication, when possible, and often to 'deleted scenes' (so to speak) cut from essays and podcasts.
