In keeping with the ethics and message of the story, I've decided to make Astonishers permanently ad- and corporate sponsorship-free. But that means having to look to alternative options for funding. Fortunately, that's where you come in.
If you so desire, you can contribute a dollar amount of your choosing to support the ongoing production of Astonishers, an otherwise free-to-read animated web serial. Becoming an Astonishers Patron not only helps the comic get made, it also blazes the trail for future web productions that don't want to rely on corporate advertising. That means more original, independent web entertainment available for everyone.

ABOUT PATREON AND PLEDGES
Patreon allows fans like you to become Patrons of the independent creative content you love. A new kind of crowd-funding, Patreon lets you sign up to automatically pledge an amount of your choice (as small as one dollar) to your favorite creators each time they post a new page, episode, song, vlog, etc. At the end of each month all of your pledges are charged, and as simple as that you've supported an independent production...and maybe earned some rewards in the process. Plus, if you change your mind later you can cancel at any time.

HOW YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS WILL BE USED
First and foremost, the funds will be used to expand the crew! Right now I am the only person working on Astonishers, and it is becoming clearer and clearer to me that it is not a one-person job. Ideally I'd like to take on two more artists to help color the animation, but I don't want to ask people to work for free.
Another portion of the funds will be set aside so I can purchase Photoshop and Final Cut licenses, as my current licenses will expire after I graduate from school, and yet another portion will go to paying the fees for a dedicated website.
It is my dream to turn Astonishers, a story that has been with me since I was 13, into my career. You wonderful people can help make that happen.
