I have been drawing comics for thirty years. My work has appeared in more underground & alternative publications than I can possibly list. Notables include KRAMER'S ERGOT, PAPER RODEO, PROPER GANDER, TYPHON, BLURRED VISIONS, THE STRANGER, etc.
I started CHROME FETUS COMIX when I was sixteen years old, as a dream-journal pictorial narrative. Things degenerated from there. In 2002 I won the Xeric Grant Award for my graphic novel CHLOE (which can be read online at www.chloecomic.com). In 2009, Fantagraphics Book bravely published my ambitious graphic novel THE SQUIRREL MACHINE, which has enjoyed critical praise and a peculiar world-wide notoriety.
Since then I've been engaged in a number of comics projects. ECTOPIARY was voted the Best Webcomic of 2010 by MTV. COCHLEA & EUSTACHIA's first book has just been released by Fantagraphics. A new, full-color storyline is well underway at www.chromefetus.com

I've been drawing these comics for as long as I can remember. Very few other activities make sense to me. It's interesting that the resultant comics apparently makes little sense to others.
I have no rationale for them, nor can I explain them. I am ill-equipped to describe them adequately. These comics do not fit neatly into any known genre. It seems vital to me that they should exist. Hopefully, enough people will agree to contribute to this Patreon page and make it so.
