Day-job, Baby!
Okay, should this utterly insane goal happen, I'd make reviews a priority on par with my, at this point, one day-job, which would translate to a vastly increased output. I will also finally be able to afford the equipment to produce video-reviews and rants - I'll be able to SHOW you the art, maps etc. and add this as a second type of review I'll provide for you - ad-free, of course! Beyond that, I'll also start providing a series of blog posts to increase or decrease the challenge of modules of your choosing, highlight cool synergies between products and discuss fitting means of enhancing your game - tried and tested in my own campaign, from props to mini-games and weird and unusual house-rules!

At this level, I'd go full-time job, produce an unprecedented flow of reviews, both written and as VLOGs and yes, produce serious gaming material for the discerning gamer - at the behest of you, my patreons! (And yes, I'm aware that this is not realistic, but one may dream, right? ;))

I am currently, without engaging in hyperbole, the most prolific reviewer of Third Party Publisher (3pp) material for the Pathfinder roleplaying game (PFRPG), with some excursions to Call of Cthulhu, Diceless roleplaying, Dungeon Crawl Classics and similar systems. I have published more than 1900 reviews in the last couple of years and chances are, that if you're even remotely interested in the subject matter, you may have read some on Paizo, DrivethruRPG, RPGNow, d20pfsrd.com's shop or similar platforms. My reviews are regarded as fair, hard, impartial, critical and my policy of updating reviews to address changes made has allowed me to earn the trust of publishers and fans alike. My goal is to provide means for authors and publishers to improve their offerings - my focus has always been unbiased, constructive criticism.
I have acted as advisor, developer and freelancer for a diverse selection of 3pps and my work has been published in quite an array of books. My highest recommendation, the seal of approval, is hard to earn and requires both solid crunch (mastery of math/rules-language) and evocative fluff (flavor) - and has turned into a kind of brand of its own.
The problem is that reviewing, though I absolutely love it, has turned into essentially a third, unpaid job (and yes, I'm currently juggling 2...) - reading the books, writing reviews, checking the math, publishing the reviews - all of that gobbles up time like crazy. I'm currently devoting at least 4 hours a day to reviewing. This is not counting the playtesting done on week-ends for complex modules and crunch. Yes, I am a fast reader with an excellent memory, blessed with an awesome group of friends willing to test a steady stream of supplements - that's the only reason I can maintain an output of at the very least, 6 reviews per week, though some weeks have seen 15 or even more reviews! Even with a broken arm, I managed to maintain a steady output - my commitment to the whole reviewing process should be pretty much apparent.
The cold, hard truth, though, is that my financial situation isn't particularly rosy. I am not in debt, I don't have an expensive living standard, but I'm still struggling to make ends meet - I am pretty much considered "poor" as per the official statistics. How bad is it? If anything major breaks down, whether it's a phone or a computer, I can't afford a replacement. I don't deal too well with that kind of Damocles' sword hanging over my head and one of my income-streams falls away this year anyways, so I'm applying for new jobs.
Thus, my employment situation is bound to change in 2015 and I need to determine how much time I'll be able to devote to reviewing in the future. That's where you come into play - if I have to manage three day-jobs just to scrape by the poverty line, there simply won't be enough time to maintain the thing I love, reviewing for you and providing spotlights for awesome products that would have otherwise been lost in the flood of publications.
What's in it for you? Well, I'm going to listen to my patreons to modify my pile of reviews - I'll budget certain purchases you want me to make, I'll move items of interest for you up on my queue so you don't have to wait too long for the review. Of course, the higher the contribution you elect to provide, the more influence you will have on when I tackle a given product. Publishers and authors electing to support me will receive my permission to add my seal of approval-logo, created by Tommi Salama, to the pdfs that have managed to reach this level of quality. I'd also be willing to link to your site(s), provided they pass a check and do not contain offensive material.
This is very much a patronage campaign in the traditional sense - consider it a donation or a show of appreciation for the service I provide and rest assured that I will maintain my impartial stance on products - no matter the level of support I am given. After all, that's what you folks value, right? I also envision this as a means to engage in dialog on which books to tackle when, as a means for me to determine what my most supportive readers want reviewed - so if I've been neglecting your favorite publisher xyz, this is the chance to tell me to focus on the products in question! Same goes for other systems - want to see more DCC-reviews? More Diceless-reviews? Here's your chance to tell me!
I do have plans for donations of products to randomly selected patreons and the like once I've secured a basic level of support and have some great things up my sleeve beyond that - but that will have to wait for now.
Now, regardless of how this campaign turns out - I won't quit. My reviews are here to stay and remain free. But I need your help to maintain the frequency and pace of reviews I make for you.
