Dear friends,

Due to the quite large amount of health-related expenses from my surgery and hospitalisation, I’m extremely backed up in rent, bills, etc., with urgent payment notices arriving daily, and we all know that getting paid in the translation industry takes some time.

So I decided to turn to my friends and colleagues, to set-up a kind of “crowdsourcing” aid, by whomever may be able to assist.

Of course, the funds gathered will be returned in due time (I have been pretty busy lately, so I expect every cent to be returned by the end of December) to the person who helped out, along with my eternal gratitude.

To keep things transparent, I will be posting a list of people who helped in my blog, which I will be updating weekly with the people who have received a full refund of their “loan”. If someone does not wish for their name to appear on the blog, just let me know and I’ll use something imaginative to keep tabs on you.

I have no idea if this is going to work, but to be honest, I’m not exactly left with many options, as I’ve always been pretty much alone in my endeavour to make a living, coming from a poor family and with the situation as is in Greece.

If you want to learn more about the specifics or have any questions, please contact me at any of my emails ([email protected], [email protected]) or via social media.

Thank you for your support,
