Advice for a parent who fears her son is being bullied

I was asked by a parent what to do when she was worried about her son being bullied. I don't advertise it every day, but I have a background very, very familiar with the problem. It's a bit off topic from my normal subjects, but I was compelled by a friend to help out. Hopefully, all my followers and friends can learn something from the write-up and remember it when there is someone that needs to hear the advice.
