Hello, and thanks for visiting my Patreon page!

This platform was designed to provide a temporary method of sustainability that will allow me to continue working on Umuseke Soap in Rwanda.  Umuseke is a handmade soap business I've started there to support Hope Shines and the orphans we serve, as well as job creation.

Regardless of any investment funding that comes in for the sole purpose of the business startup, I still needed a way to cover living expenses in Rwanda as well as my New York bills.  The business is nearly ready to launch, and as it starts to move, my business advisor and I realized that it may still take some months to turn a healthy profit.  Hence, the idea of Patreon came to mind as a way to make it all happen in the meantime.

The idea of these mini blogs came about since a number of people have been very curious about different aspects of Rwanda and have been asking me questions.  A new section in my newsletter will help answer those, but my Patreon supporters will get a little extra in the form of video clips, as little peeks into life in Rwanda.

So... If you are one of these supporters, then a huge THANK YOU for believing in me, for understanding what this is all about, and for participating in the impact this project can have on so many lives.  I cannot tell you how appreciative and grateful I am for your support.

Just click the orange "BECOME A PATRON" button above, fill in the amount you'd like to pledge monthly ($5, $10, $25, $50, anything you can afford helps greatly), and that's it!  I can get by on $1000 monthly for a little while, covering both New York and Kigali.  I'll be able to track all my supporters and send the videos to their email addresses.

I hope you enjoy the mini blogs, and I welcome any questions or ideas!
