Born and raised in the small town of Joliette in Quebec, Canada, I was one of those daydreaming/deficits of attentions high-school student sucking at maths. I was good in art classes though, really good. I got my bachelor’s degree in visual arts at the Université du Québec en Outaouais. I completed my degree with an honorable mention for my last year project: the comic strip Macralle : Sorcière des Eaux.

Comic book and graphic novels are my passions. Creating illustrations that communicate powerful emotion and connect with people is what drives me into drawing. But being good at something don't necessarily go with success. My teachers used to say, "It takes 10% talent and 90% perseverance to succeed in this line of work".

Since 2010, I got a full-time job working at a pubic library saving money for my business. What was supposed to be a job to fill the gaps has become over time my main source of income and time commitment. Now I want to turn the tide.

In 2016, after a successful Kickstarter campaign, I launched my website and my Etsy shop hoping to reach worldwide art’s fans and investors. The last two years have been challenging and I am learning every day to empower myself and become a good entrepreneur in my field. Thank you for helping me achieve my goal!

The source of inspiration for most of my drawings comes from personal experiences or tales and legends that marked my childhood and my adult life.

Each of my drawings are part of a story so hop in and join me in this journey.

* I am a french Canadian so some times (most of the times) I will publish my post in french. But feel free to ask for translation or more english stuff ;) *

Goals
$47 of $500 per month
When I reach 500$ per month, I'll flip the table at my office job (it's a small table and I'll do it really silently because it's in a library and I'll do it in a really respectful way but still with passion and joy and I will make a fabulous webcomic out of it)! But than I will put it back and deeply apologize because I will still need my job.
