Thank you for your interest in art and your support of artists!

A little about me: I'm an artist and book maker exploring the connection between American culture, history, and landscape mostly through long term and often long distance photographic research.  I founded the first photography program in the Department of Art & Art History at the College of William & Mary where I currently work with students to become the next generation of visual story tellers.  I travel a lot for my photographic research and record what I find on large format sheets of film.  I work with this material and process because of its intentionality, inherent collaborative necessity of the subject, and ability to record immense detail.  The cost of travel, materials, and process require constant support from grants and like-minded patrons.  Your support is vital to my practice and allows me to dig deeper into the American phenomenon, producing content that helps our understanding of each other and the world we live in.  My research is presented in galleries and museums across the United States in addition to publications and books.  I am always active, usually working on several projects at once, and your support helps me to keep producing quality, thought provoking, and important contemporary work.
