Hey guys, this week the Project Sm:)es challenge is to "bite our tongue" and just listen when we feel defensive in a conversation. Hear the other person out and then relay back to them what you just heard them say to you. This will let them know that you were listening.
Sometimes people just want to be heard, not start a fight. Seek to understand!
Let me know if you have a chance to practice this!

I think this happens when I feel like I've not done anything wrong, especially at work when mistakes can occur.Over the past few months,I've practised "biting my tongue" ,and it can be hard, epecially when someone points out my mistake..However,this teaches me to be humble.to learn and grow from my mistakes, and to listen to what the other has to say.It takes two to make one wrong, and we may not always be right too. This has made me a better person,to exercise more patience and to talk things through without being defensive.

Minni Howl Oh, I practice this on a daily basis in life :) (Not the fighting part, I don't normally do fighting, but the listening part :p)
