First of all, hello and welcome. My name is David.

I'm a writer, blogger and content creator, who is hoping to do this sort of thing full time one day, or at least part-time. To do this I need a little help.

I think I have something to say to the world. I really feel that our generation is coming of age in a unique and sometimes scary era, where we all suffer from 'future shock' due to the speed of social, political and technological changes that we don't always feel part of.

My articles have been published on The Scotsman newspaper, The Backbencher, Darrow and The Intern Lunch.

My blog, on average, receives about 1000 visits a month and has had nearly 19,000 visitors since April 2016.

I write about a broad range of subjects including national and international politics, TV and computer games as well as social and cultural issues, with a particular emphasis on Scotland and the UK, but not exclusively so.

I have just started work on a book about coming of age in the new millennium, finding a job and forging a career (or not as the case may be) during one of the worst economic crisis since 1929 and how I don't quite understand life in the 21 century. It's in the preliminary stages at the moment, but I've got about 5000 words done.

If you are interested in what I have written so far, I have put a number of links to my other articles and publications below:
