My name is Jocelyn and I am a lover of books and all things related to them, but to sum it up I am a writer and editor.

Words have been my passion since I was a little girl staying up late to read. My parents would only lightly scold me, but mostly they would smile and say "don't stay up too late." Cut to my college years and I thought I was going to major in finance. W-r-o-n-g. I did terrible because a. I'm not a numbers girls and b. it was not what I loved! What did I do? Majored in English and that was the best thing ever. I excelled at my classes and mostly I loved what I was learning.

I graduated this year and know that there is nothing else I rather do than write and edit. Why not one or the other? Well, it's another thing I've done since I was young. The editing started happening in high school when I went from editing friends' to peers' papers, college entrance essays, and so on. In college the same trend continued. So, if you asked me to pick one or the other? Not sure I could.

I'm here because I'm a firm believer in supporting others, and it finally hit me that I shouldn't be scared of putting myself out there to also be supported!
