Retired photographer with a passion for volcanoes and nuclear fission and fusion. In 1967 I  started in the University of Michigan chemical engineering program and rapidly switched to nuclear engineering since that was where my aptitudes where. To further confuse matters I dropped out after three years of nuclear engineering and moved to the School of Art, where I majored in photography.
Following my heart I worked at a number of menial jobs until the desktop revolution hit in the late Eighties, in which I found that the polyglot assortment of skills accumulated in following my passions led to my being in demand since I had the right combination of math, science, and art  backgrounds to put on the cloak of a computer graphics nerd.
