Each month, I host a Free Movie Screening on a variety of topics relating to Permaculture. We've screened almost 20 films over the past year and a half. The meetup is also a potluck and discussion space for people who are interested in Permaculture and want to learn more, or get involved with Philadelphia-area projects and communities.  The meeting space in West Philly that we use has been free in the past, but they have begun to charge $10 per hour for use of the space, their projector and screen, and to have a staff-member on site.  While this is more than fair, I can't pay this out of my own pocket each month, and I have not been able to find another free space that will let us use a projector, screen, and space.  I'm open to suggestions, but for now, I am asking the community that enjoys these meetups to consider supporting this event and allowing it to continue!

I also aggregate a calendar of events at PhillyPermaculture.com/events with all the permaculture-related events happening around the city.  I've also started a series of short videos that highlight local businesses, organizations, or people who are practicing permaculture in Philadelphia.
