I'm an independent animation artist trying to creating things with a new vision. I used to work in the production industry doing visual effects for movies, then I moved into academia and founded an art school in a university in Singapore where I taught for 10 years. I recently won a prestigious Lumiere Award 2018 for Chrysalis, a film I co-directed with my partner Ina Conradi. The project grew in part out of my university research. It's trailer is linked above. You can find the entire film on the movie site.
Most recently, I've been creating content exclusively for Media Art Nexus in Singapore. It's a large 15 x 2 meter LED screen, placed in a public setting, a corridor where as many as 5k people pass by every day. I'm using Derivative Touch Designer however I'm an expert in Maya and ZBrush digital sculpting as well as Unity3D. I'm looking forward to adding more subjective geometry into my work. It's quite exciting to show work to people from all walks of life in a public art venue. I am looking for more locations.
