About

Well. Hi everyone. What can I tell you... ha anything, and everything!

I'm very happily married to Rich and have a beautiful little girl Izzie, who are my world. I met Rich back in 2004, we got married on halloween in 2008, and Izzie joined us in 2012. My life is practically complete.

I danced from the age of 3 to the age of 12/13 yrs old, where I became a "teenager from hell" and quit! (Big regret now). but in 2003 I got into theatre, at my local Amateur Theatre company - where I have been a member ever since, been involved in many shows, including 'Allo 'Allo, Beyond a Joke, Caught in the Net and many more, I even directed "Pack of Lies" which was absolutely amazing! Such a buzz, now just waiting on the next "project" to come along.

In 2008, I joined a Musical Theatre Company, where my love for musical theatre (which had always been there from an audience perspective) came to fruition. Since then I have been in shows such as "Boogie Nights", "42nd Street", "Our House", and also done a couple of Pantomimes, all amateur, but finally got my "break", so to speak as I got the lead in my local groups panto - "Dick Whittington & His Cat" which was absolutely amazing!

At the beginning of 2015, I was lucky enough to be cast in a production of "Rent", where I also got the part of Alexi Darling, which we put on at The Crucible Studio in Sheffield, to great reviews and standing ovations!

I am currently rehearsing for Calamity Jane, which is already a hoot.

I love the #HollensFamily, both of them are absolutely amazing, but it was the lovely Evynne, that kick started my love for singing. And after a great performance doing Rent, I have now started taking Singing Lessons from an amazing tutor, musician, actor, dancer... the triple threat of theatre! - For those that know Rent, he played our Tom Collins, and Rocked it! So I am contemplating re-vitalizing my YouTube page with vlogs and maybe some little songs.

But for now. I'm just here to watch listen and enjoy.

Thank you if you got this far!

A little about me.. Well. I know it's a bit late, but as they say, better late than never! My husband, Rich and I, are great fans of "youtube music", well, he started it. Specifically with The Piano Guys... Amazing! So he got himself all hooked on them. Quite right too! Then they did a piece with Lindsay Stirling, again, an awesome woman with yet another amazing talent. I watched from the sidelines like the loving wife I am lol. So the LS videos got liked... Then one day there was this video of LS with some guy named Peter Hollens ;) doing all the music, with his voice. This got my attention! He was fabulous (Still is) I then got hooked. And then there you were. This beautiful woman with a voice to die for. Well, that was it for me. I've been following you ever since. The video you both did "Fall in Love" has to be one of my faves... and it's sort of become our "unofficial" song. We sing along and act away like daft kids when we watch it. Then it just hit me... or should I say you did, even more so. With Defying Gravity. Well, I was blown away! One of my all time fave pieces of music, a song I envy of anyone being able to sing, as it is one song I would kill to be able to sing. I dabble, only slightly, I do am dram, and have for over 10 years now, but only recently got in musicals, just been in the chorus, but had a blast. Hearing you sing DG just made me want to improve my vocals and get that solo in a show... And... with a little help from youtube, and singing along with you, I got my wish, I finally got a solo in Panto last Christmas... not an easy song either! Queens "Somebody to Love" Those high notes! Wow. I still have a long way to go and I plan on getting there. You are my inspiration and I thank you, both of you! I suppose we should thank The Piano Guys too. So keep it going, even with the little one, I'm sure he just loves the sound of his mummies voice. And take lots of hugs... they are the best when they are that young. xoxo... just realised I've babbled. I apologise! lol hope you don't get too bored. x
