Milestone Goals
One Free LP a month!
$500 a month would be a great boost to income! For this, I could have enough free time to dedicate to creating a short album every month to put out for free download every month full of my signature craziness
One new free indie game every month
1k a month is getting into the land of rich beefy greatness! With this kind of backing, I'll be able to have the time and focus to provide a steady, monthly influx of strange offbeat little indie games free of charge. no ads. no publishers. no gods. no kings. only games
All games. All albums. Free forever!
3000 a month is a pretty big number but It means that this can fully become my job. It means you, my supporters are my employers and that I can create for you exactly what you like to see me make without having to fret over any of the industry red tape. Before taxes, 3k equates to about 36k a year which is good enough for me to share all of my games and music, future and past to the internet free of charge!
About
Hi! My name's Amon.
I'm an artist, music composer and video game designer currently living in Grand Rapids Michigan. I've been making a small career out of a combination of the three since 2008 and I can safely say I have the best fans and supporters out there.
Since 2011 I've taken the plunge to go full time. The rewards are great and the risks are even greater. I have no contractual obligations to any studios or publishers which means two things. One, I have the freedom to create content with no filters, rushed deadlines, or hampering of concept. Secondly, it means I have absolutely no safety net to fall back on. That means no salary or consistent source of income short of the earnings I make from game sales and freelance jobs.
That's where Patreon comes in! I work very hard to release the best games and albums I can for prices fair to myself and the buying public. However, when sales are down and freelance jobs are thin I'm left in a spot where I can't afford to cover the daily expenses for essentials, let alone work-beneficial activities such as attending conferences around the country.
So, if you believe in what I do, you're a patron of the arts, or just feel like putting your money into something dirty and wild, this is the place to do it and I'm the guy who would be eternally grateful.
Thank you for taking the time to read up on me, all the best

I had a realization the other day. When I began making a name for myself in game design, It came from a place in me that sought to excite people by means of what excited me. Along the years of putting game design front and center I slowly let it take away from a world of other wonderful things I'd also want to continue sharing. I want to be able to keep putting out albums, short films, physical goods, custom clothing, and hand made toys along with game development. While I have all the energy in the world to accomplish this, living doesn't come cheap and money doesn't come steady.
That's where you come in. Being that I'm a one man operation with no publishing contracts, royalties, or salary to reliably depend on, I'm opening my guitar case to the internet with the hopes that some of you would be willing to help me meet the daily grind.
