Zoey Huerta My God... all the replies here are from 2014. How could Patreon go so unnoticed before my very nose?! Was I sleeping or something? I've been meaning to self publish my own stories since a long time ago but couldn't do any of them due to my freelance work. I really think this place is highway better than any other crowdfunding platform. I'm looking forward to get things done here. Thank you guys! PS.- Your video is too funny!

Stant Litore This was very useful! Thanks for posting this video. I was inspired and redid my Patreon page, adapting some of the ideas. On that note, thank you for Patreon. While I certainly can't match SMBC's success, since my hard launch in July I have reached $831/month in support. For a novelist with a small but loyal fanbase, that's pretty amazing. The patrons have been loving it too! I am so grateful for this platform, which allows artists, musicians, and authors to change what it means to live and work in our fields. So many of us sing for our supper and live on the tips. Patreon changes everything. It also gives us a deeper, meaningful way to connect with a core community of people who love our work! JonathanOasis Building a fan base from scratch takes time and consistency. I bet he was consistent with his social media use too, keeping all ways of notification active.

James Everett The problem Patreon is helping artists solve, is how to be financially rewarded for their talents, while at the same time the Creators of Patreon be rewarded for the service they provide. The ability for Patreon to create a medium for buyer to meet seller (Patrons to meet the Creators) via the internet, and provide the business infrastructure for those entrepreneurial artists (Creators) to collect a revenue stream, is bloody brilliant. Patreon is there for the Creators - not the advertisers and not the Patrons. I know that developing software systems, building complex servers platforms, providing security for all parties, cost MONEY. There is nothing wrong sharing the benefits with your customers (Creators) and fostering the global spread of untapped talent!!!! How can I invest in you guys? I love your vision....
