Julian Owens Hey guys, great shows. I just wanted to let you know that based on a most recent show where you covered the extension of your wifi signal, no I don't have horse hair in my walls, I was able to resolve my issue. I live in a long ranch home where my ATT router is in an upstairs above my garage and my master bedroom is aaall the way on the other side of my house. I picked up a Netgear EX6200 that I have placed in the middle of my home to carry the signal and now everything is just sweet. Thanks. I'll be getting me a supertank printer next! Great Job. You make quality entertaining shows that are fun to watch and learn. Keep up the great work. Started off small on Patreon but decided as of today to give you all a pay raise. Congrats, I'm bumping my patreon per show level.

Julian Owens For those of us who are trying to run a small router / system in a garage, I have killed two with 100+ degree Texas heat, what can you guys recommend for a router or mini switch that can handle 100-110 degree F heat? Fanless would be nice but if it has a fan, that's ok too. Thanks again for all of your help.

Shannon Morse and Patrick Norton Hey Julian! Patrick here. I'll ask folks on the show if they know of a particularly robust router, but I suspect if it's 100-100 outside, it's probably way hotter inside your garage. Any chance you can move that hardware into the house? If not, make sure it's not anywhere near a windows (direct sunlight is brutal), and try moving it down by the floor, esp if the floor is concrete. Consider cracking open the case on the router, drilling holes in the top, or just leaving it outside the case. Setting up a biscuit fan that blows air on/over it might help, or just keeping a fan going inside the garage to move the air around. And, of course, there's always sealing and insulating the roof the garage, adding ventilation to reduce the amount of heat buildup inside. Hope this helps a bit!

seerpea I had to use the YouTube version as I could not get an RSS feed going (for any of the last 3 shows, even though i had previously viewed prior 2) with Diamond or Weekster. Is there a different audio process used for YouTube from RSS feed? The voices were very muddled compared to the RSS feeds I was able to get the past month.
