When the U. S. Supreme Court issued its decision in Burwell v. Hobby Lobby, I came out of retirement. In this decision, five Catholic men on the court decided that Hobby Lobby, a craft store, did not have to provide certain forms of birth control to their employees under The Affordable Care Act. As a woman who came of age in the 60's and 70's, I was incensed. Why should religion be used as an excuse to avoid paying insurance needs of women? I decided to write a book, Women Beyond Belief: Discovering Life without Religion, and started a blog, Faithless Feminist. More women's voices are needed to talk about the damage religion has done to women. Thank you for considering supporting me in this effort.

I have been writing my blog for over a year and would like to cover part of the expenses associated with it. This is a humble start and I hope that you will support me.
