Ryan Van Schaack Very well done as always, I can't wait for more. However I do have a question. I am one of your $3 dollar tiered backers but i never received an email for the 1 day early access. I'm not mad or anything like that, I'm just wondering what happened?

Extra Credits That's odd. Early access went up September 25 around 2am, if I remember correctly. I would try checking your spam folders for anything sent around that time, to see if perhaps Patreon is getting spam-blocked on your account.

Tropical Blitz Looking forward to when you guys get to the movie goal! "There have been weddings, court hearings, important work conferences, family emergencies, half-marathon training... " There are 2 situations that lead to these sequence of events: 1. You were caught in a 90's RomCom film 2. You were involved in the English Civil War in some capacity. Either case involves time travel. As such, you would be the MVP in this case for surviving those terrible events. "and we welcome any ideas you guys might have for future topics." Top 10 things we can never say on Weekly Manga Recap? That'll be your chance to say that joke about the Chinese Society in Food Wars Chris! More seriously, I'd like to hear what you guys might say about the History of Weekly Shonen Jump. Or perhaps even a general discussion about what the magazine went through in these past 5 years. Maybe include thoughts about other publications, or talk about the evolution in covers: http://akito-z.minus.com/uploads Or maybe a more in depth discussion about Hulk Hogan racism. I mean that where all your discussions lead to anyway. "On the topic of sending things in, Halloween month is coming up soon so it's time to start sending in some appropriate suggestions! Anything Halloween related is welcome; be it a horror series, a monster series, a dark thriller series, or anything the fits the various vibes of the season. It also helps significantly to include "Halloween Recommendation" in the title of your e-mail." Oh boy, have I got some things to recommend this year! Won't miss my chance this time. "this week we'll be fangasming over Food Wars for about forty minutes." Man, I am so looking forward to what you guys have to say about it! I still remember when Chris mentioned back at the start of the arc how it wasn't all that exciting them doing a school festival. But then the mangaka' figured out a way to turn everything around, so now at the end, BOOM! Food Wars is so good.

Jordan Glazer Hey it's alright Chris, don't stress your self out too much. I know you guys are working hard and that's why I'm happy being at champion level. Can't wait for the new bonus podcast, if it's this weekend it will be just in time for my next work week and my long commute to work. WMR is always great driving material. I'm really looking forward to more Bonus pods but I can't really come up with any suggestions out side of Top Tens so I'll give ya a few I guess. Maybe one on Top Ten Flashbacks/Backstories, Top Ten most hated characters (either intentional or unintentional) or maybe keeping in line with your Sports cast, Top Ten Manga that should become movies with you pitching the movie to Nik! These are just a few and I have more but I hope it helps. Also I'm kinda confused Chris, is Nik ever going to join in on the list making? I figured it was only you on the badasses list because Nik already did it, but it sounds like it will just be you making the lists. Also can't wait for that Q/A, it's gonna be sweet. Though forgive me I sent in like 3 letters, sorry :/ I have alot of questions dang it. Even though I sent in alot of questions, I will make sure to send in at least one Halloween suggestion. I've got ideas on series that are "Scary" and not scary and goofy, but I will narrow it down. Can we please just get Infamous Planet on the show to read World Trigger to my heart and backdoor Pt. NananananananananNine and a half point one. I think it would just be pretty funny to have him read it. Well I'll see ya at WMR, Food Wars was so good this week. It ranked #1 with me and it was so close between it and World Trigger.

Mikkel Kaas Crazy story altogether. I've lost track of time, but how long did the crusade last? It must've been years. Also, how did they manage to maintain a regularly army, large enough to take Jerusalem? Given all the fighting, the sieges, sickness and starvation they've gone through, I'm impressed there's any army left. Did new forces from Europe join them as time went on?

Extra Credits It lasted three years! Getting from Western Europe to Turkey is no small feat, so they didn't have many reinforcements coming in - just the Byzantines and whatever locals they could recruit. (They did recruit locals periodically - we see Tancred doing this in Episode 5.)

Sean Sarff The Crusades were always my favorite part of Medieval history. I hope we get to see the Second Crusade (the one that doesn't even make it out of Europe) and the Third Crusade with all the major kings of Europe actually participating.

Extra Credits Look up the Battle of Dorylaeum, and you can read about it! There are several sources that talk about it, so the basic facts are fairly well attested - although that being said, I always enjoy a healthy dose of doubt. :) Never get your history from only one source!

De I want to say how much I appreciate the way the art is full of little cues and details to help us all remember who we're talking about and basic facts about them. Those sunglasses on Hughe may be silly but they make you go "Oh yeah, the We're Cool guy who's father fought for Byzantine and who made it to Constantinople without losing too many guys or looting." The same goes for Raymond's eyepatch and Bohemand's mustache, the old guy and the tricky guy. Without these reminders I'd be totally lost.
