I'm a hustler.

I mean, I'm a comic book creator.

Well, to be a comic book creator is to be a hustler.

A comic book creator thinks about drawing, writing, and marketing constantly. It's a joyful/painful/exhilarating struggle, adapting to the new trends in monetizing your work. In this profession, if you stop paying attention for a minute you're suddenly a month behind. It's likely that 90% of the creators I know could be making comfortable livings as storyboard artists, conceptual artists, or illustrators if they didn't love comics so much... but that's just it, we do, and so we hustle.

No matter what, I'm going to make comics. I'm here because Patreon can give me the ability to make more comics faster.

The rewards here are really for process junkies (like me). They range from seeing drawing a week ahead of the rest of the public, to videos, to jumping with me through the constant hoops of pitching books (I prefer having a book I'm working on, the next book having been green-lit, and another pitch active for a series after that. So I always have a pitch in mind).

I hope you like what I do, and want to be my patron.

Along for the ride reward:

Help keep a roof over my head.

For patrons giving $25 or more, I will hold a drawing every quarter to receive an 11"x17" ink sketch (valued usually at $200-$400).
Goals
$46 of $2,000 per month
This will supplement my income & help me focus completely on creator owned work. I would like to achieve a point in my life where I release multiple volumes of creator owned books each year.
