Brian Bradley – Missionary to Comic-Con Culture

Brian Bradley was raised in the world of comics and has witnessed firsthand the darkness that is promoted within them and within the lives of those in the comic book (or Comic-Con) culture. These people travel hundreds and thousands of miles to meet their favorite writers and illustrators, television actors and movie stars. They dress as their favorite heroes, and to celebrate this culture which goes beyond comics to their favorite Sci-Fi and Superhero movies and TV shows, Anime, and the whole culture of Cosplay.

After Brian gave his life to Christ, he struggled to figure out where he fit into God’s great plan to spread the gospel across the world. Instead of going out in foreign missions, God sent Brian right back to the Comic-Con culture, to be a missionary there, a place where few Christians have been able to make an impact in. He hopes to do for comics what the writers, directors, and actors of movies such as God is Not Dead, War Room, and I Can Only Imagine have done for the movies.

Kingdom Comics

In a leap of faith,
Brian created his own line of comics which not only present Christian values but present the Gospel to the readers in clear words and clever illustrations. He and his team call this ministry Kingdom Comics. They can be found at their website here and are also sold at Barnes & Noble.

These comics are sold out consistently to Christians and Non-Christians alike, every year at Comic-Cons all over the United States. Kingdom Comics also reach outside of the USA. They have regular artists from Pakistan, Africa, and The Philippines, and have artists regularly contribute from Finland and the UK. Their comic books have also been used to teach children about Jesus, in Kuwait.

God has provided for Kingdom Comics, and the ministry and its needs are growing. “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.” (Mark 9:37) Kingdom Comics attends Comic-Cons to minister all across the Midwest and even out as far as California, and Brian wants to take the gospel in comic book form even further. But this ministry cannot grow without your help.

  • I ask you to prayerfully consider how you are Following your calling to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ into the dark and broken world around us.
  • I ask you to pray for the ministry of Kingdom Comics.
  • And I ask you to prayerfully consider supporting this ministry financially.

God Bless you!
