Despite having minimal set up / planning time; I tried to make this video as immersive as possible - hopefully you feel like you're riding along!  And please enter the monthly contest!  I really want you guys to have a chance at winning some of the awesome stuff we're giving away - having a "Grand Prize" A20 headset from Bose to give to a viewer this season, is very rewarding for me!  You'll never get any spam from the mailing list.

Happy flying everyone,

Mark Oda That was way too cool! It's neat to see formation flying. In a way it's like everything slows down. What a neat experience. Glad you could do it and share it with us.

Thanks again for the support! This was a fun one to edit. This one is late to Patreon (it should have been posted on the 16th, but I was away on holiday and not logging on for anything other than occasionally checking email) Sorry about that. Note for the new supporters: videos go live on YouTube every second Friday, but I switched to posting here on Patreon the 2nd and 16th of each month to keep the "paid posts" to a maximum of two… That said, the lag is getting to be over a week now, so I may skip one or very rarely post 3 in a month to close that lag gap - so, please set your monthly max caps accordingly so that there are no surprises. Flight Chops Oh, and all the $5+ Patrons should have their flight suit patches with in a couple weeks of joining - if you didn't get one, please let me know - Technically, anything that is not paper, is supposed to be declared by filling out forms to indicate that they are gifts - However I sneak them through as regular mail because the time / energy spent on that process every time I send one is prohibitive. Most get through as standard mail, but I fear that some times US customs snags them.

Flight Chops Thanks Manrique! It is VERY rewarding to hear that I'm part of helping you keep your flying spirit alive during the "life got in the way" part of your aviation career. I was right there where you are in 2009. I'd met my wife, bought the house, got married, had a baby, and suddenly realized I hadn't been flying since 2005! I felt a part of myself atrophying, and my wife was supportive as I slowly got re currency training and was flying again by 2010. It was in large part thanks to free resources online that helped keep my head in the game when I couldn't actually fly... I am now VERY happy to give back and offer those sorts of resources to the community.

Flight Chops Oh, and I forgot to add my standard note: Videos go up on YouTube every 2nd Friday, so this one has been live for over a week; however, I'm posting here on Patreon the 2nd and 16th of each month to keep the paid posts to a maximum of two... But as the lag is now over a week, I may skip a Patreon post or upload a 3rd one this month to "reset the lag" - please be sure to edit your monthly max so there are no surprises.
