Mark Bushnell Very happy to see Quinns enthusing about video-games on camera again. It helps fill the cogwatch shaped hole in my heart. More generally all the Cool Ghost stuff has been excellent, very excited to see where things go from here.

Shane Ryan Haha, brilliant video. I try to immerse myself in The Witching experience all the more by having a little bottle of calpol six plus to swig every time geralt knocks back a potion. Sometimes when I fight a difficult boss I partially lose my vision, but its worth it.

Simon Preece Here's a tip, that you probably already know, making me sound a right tit. But if you need to kill something BIG, slap a pod on its head. Just about anything will do the trick, turret, resupply, anything that calls down an actual drop. If I don't pack a rocket and a bloody big bastard comes at me, I freeze them with the static thingy-me-bob, then slap down a wad of ammo on his noggin. Boom, splat, yaayyy.

David Howes I've been trying to play the game just ahead of you as you go through this play through, I have to say purge changed the game for me, it's just so helpful.

Barry Hood Bugs are definitely the game changer. Money for nothing! My upgrade tree goes something like: Hacking > 1st Double jump > Bomb > Clearance for next zone > Upgrade hacking (for doors/mines) > Bug > Never have to worry about money again (well, not quite, but they are amazing)

trn I can't imagine anyone would complain. Also, I'm pretty sure you don't need to apologise EVERY time you post something ;) Btw, if you get chance, can you tell Chris to pull his finger out and get Eurogamer to agree to him doing 'Something for the Weekend' for them? Nobody at Videogamer picked up the slack on obscure indie titles so I'm parched for weird early access games and freebies. What, pay for full releases? Have a good weekend!

David Howes I've been playing the swindle on your recommendation, I have to say I had one game that went exactly like this.

Christian Doyle (Samurai Rabbit) This game is an obscene amount of fun. Also possibly the closest we'll get to a good Starship Troopers game :)

J Rose A Fine ending to the series and i will miss it. Watching you and Quinns play Helldivers some more sounds like good fun, I'm loving the swindle and I'm sure there will be much more to come, but it won't match the moments of quiet introspection tinged with comedy and horror of this playthrough (i mean i guess Quinns could strip off in one video or something but it wouldn't be quite the same!).

De I honestly thought you would go for the escape from the dream ending. Sometimes I think watching someone play a video game tells you a bit about them. Matt Lees doesn't want to kill the helpless just to find out what will happen after. And that's nice. Though in a way you probably got the ending you deserved, since as you pointed out the game was getting you to do things you really didn't want to out of a sense of obligation to learn all there was to learn, effectively turning you into it's creature. Interesting, it's all interesting. In all seriousness, this has been a wonderful series Mr. Lees.

Simon James Interesting idea Matt, really good to see you're aiming to grow your methods and integrate your way of working with others. Look forward to seeing what happens. On a different note, and sadly I doubt it will ever happen (licencing rights and all that) as Jim was good to do Auld Da for your charity stream, how would Matt Lees deal with Simon Miller's The Miller Report Simon Miller.

Jon Orr Very interesting video, looking forward to seeing the evolution of your work in the future. You mentioned around the 40min mark about trying to listen to music that's a bit more chill. Might I suggest One Eskimo, their album is on Spotify and it's wonderful to listen to and it feels like a journey when you listen to it all in one go. Hope you like it.

Tom Blake I spent hours on hours on that bit where you first get into the nightmare of mensis, tried a variety of different strategies to get further into the place, but just wasn't getting anywhere so just ran for it in the end. After a good number of goes I managed to run all the way upto the mansion, through the spiders and the hunter, through the children with metal heads and find that lift down to the lantern, was an absolute godsend!
