Most people fail to accomplish their goals in life because they are unwilling to take the first step. Everyday I see people that want to start a YouTube channel or start their own business online, but they are unwilling to publish their first video or get started on their website. How I quickly notice and fix my bad mood, today. The first step if you want to fix your bad mood is to honestly identify where your mood is. Most of the time you will be in a bad mood because you are mad at someone or the rest of the world. The world is just fine the way it is, and all you can do is control your attitude regarding it. The main mistake I made in the past was turning to alcohol to change my mood. While this provided temporary relief, it didn't solve the problems I had. Today I am thankful I no longer try to change my mood, but instead try to understand the attitude I have regarding the outside world, and adapt to it.

What would I tell my daughter about life if I never got the chance to say it in person? What if she never gets the chance to get to know her dad as a kid or an adult? Today, I felt it was important to make a video to tell her what I would like to tell her about life in case something were to happen to me. No matter what happens to your mother or I, you are inseparable from us. You are half your mom and half you dad, and you can never lose us. I lost my dad last year, but his voice is still inside of me. I suppose the main thing I would like to tell my daughter is you are life. Dealing with people can be challenging! In fact, it is normal to struggle with other people in your life. The best thing I can do when dealing with other people is control my attitude, and go into every situation with a positive attitude. I have noticed that my own attitude and actions can very easily rub off on other people and effect how they in turn act. Treat others as you want to be treated! What can I accomplish in my life that will not fade away? What can I do that will not disappear someday? I am thankful to have been asked this question in my productivity course on Udemy, and I will do my best to answer it for you today. My biggest accomplishment is here with me today. My wife and I are blessed to have welcomed our first child in to the world, but even we as people eventually fade away. Everything we accomplish will eventually fade away, and it is not worth ruining today to obtain something else that will fade.

Arguing with what is, is completely insane. To disagree with how thing are, right in this moment, is crazy. However things are this moment is simply a fact, and arguing over them will only make you miserable. Right at this moment there is an airplane flying over my house. The noise used to utterly annoy me when i would be making a video, but I have come to accept it. I am thankful to be in a spiritual place where I can accept things for the way they are. Repairing the damage I cause in relationships makes life so much easier! If you want to have great relationships in your life, the easiest thing you can do is to repair the damage you cause within the relationship. This is helpful because you alone have the control to make the repairs, and it doesn't require anyone else. I am grateful today to know the value of aiming to have a neutral mood, where peace, love, and joy are in the background. Now this is not to say I feel apathetic, I simply try to avoid emotional highs and lows, and try to achieve balance and stability with my emotions. In the past, my idea of fun was to reach the highest levels of euphoria, where I would do anything to feel better about myself. However, what goes up must come down and these emotional highs were often followed by depression. I am grateful that today I can find balance. Do you see when you are improving at things in life? We focus so much on what we are doing wrong, that we often do not take the time to appreciate when we are making improvements in other areas. What helps you get started on the right foot each day? I have a steady routine that allows me to wake up on the right side of the bed each day, and get a productive start to my morning. I avoid checking Facebook, news sites or e-mail when first waking up, because I have realized that if I see negative news it will negatively effect my mood for the rest of the day. The first thing I do every morning is eat a balanced meal. The Snicker's commercial that says you're not you when you're hungry couldn't be more true! The second thing I do each morning is pray that I may be of service to the world. Prayer helps to keep me humble, and saying a prayer before I start help working puts me in a more productive mindset. Like every person, I have thoughts both good and bad. By ignoring the bad thoughts I allow them to pass, and instead focus on bringing love and understanding into the world.

How do you deal with productivity problems? In the past, I have had problems dealing with procrastination, lack of achievements and getting bored fast. I felt as if I was on a treadmill, running in place and getting nowhere in life. it wasn't until I started being thankful for what I had in life that I found happiness.

Are you satisfied at the end of each day? Do you regret not being able to finish things? You have the right to be happy with what you have done at the end of every single day. In the past, things left unfinished would consume me. I would often work long hours just for a feeling of completeness. Today I am grateful that what I did throughout the day was enough. Do you like to procrastinate? I stopped avoiding things, and I now tackle things head on. In the past I would often avoid things I did not want to do, or that seemed difficult. For example, when I was in school I would often put off writing an essay until the last possible moment. The problem with procrastinating is that it will cause unneeded stress & anxiety, and you will often expend more energy than if you immediately completed the task. One technique I use to avoid procrastinating is breaking up large and often daunting projects into smaller and more manageable tasks. If you had told me that I had to record 1,000 video lectures this year, I would have told you no way! But, by recording 3-5 videos per day it has become much more manageable, and even enjoyable.
