OG Van Run Club Hero

Become one of the original Van Run Club Heros. 

Similar to the Event Supporter, get early access, a covid friendly nod and good karma. There is no time commitment for this plan, so you can try it out for a month as well. Everything is appreciated.

And you'll have access to the exclusive monthly event for stride analysis. More info below in the page description. I'll take a quick video of each jogger before the run from 3 different angles. Then do the same after and create a short audio analysis over the video to help you understand where your stride is at right now. Patrons get priority for this event.

On top of that, you'll be able to access the Beats Interval Audio Library, so you can do your workouts on your own (although you'll miss my coaching *sad*), wherever and whenever you like.

About Van Run Club

I love the Van Run Club community. You guys are awesome. First and foremost, the best thing you can do is come out and run, be friendly and talk about us. Van Run Club wouldn’t exist if you didn’t come out and read the blog. So thank you.

Every operation takes time and has expenses, so there are ways to give back so that I can keep fueling the programming. There are no time commitments for any of the tiers. In fact you can give and cancel your plan right away and even send me a note letting me know it's a one-off contribution. Everything is appreciated.

I'd like to be as transparent as possible so the money contributed goes to the following things:
  • My time and energy for: 
    • Creating the video and blog content, 
    • Regular social runs, 
    • Run events, 
    • Promoting the club,
    • Forming partnerships with other businesses
    • Maintaining the website and other social medias (Strava, Instagram, WhatsApp and Youtube)
  • Operational costs like:
    • The website, 
    • Web hosting, 
    • Event prizes, 
    • Event costumes like party hats, head bands, etc
    • Promotional material
As the group grows, the costs will increase. I love organizing, but it does take effort. Hopefully you've seen benefits from this and the group has helped educate you, increase your mental and physical health and motivate you. By contributing you're essentially sponsoring another person in our community to have access to this group and connect.

For the Hero and Superhero tiers, the Monthly Stride Analysis Jog:
  • It’ll take place once a month at a regular time
  • It will be limited to 6 members
  • It will included before and after videos of your stride with commentary and tips for improving your stride

For the Superhero Tier, the Training Plan includes the following:
  • Introductory Needs Assessment Call (Up to 30 mins) to assess:
    • Running Intention
    • 12-week Goal
    • Weekly time allowance for training
  • 6 x 2 week training plans including:
    • Run Schedule durations and paces
    • Supplementary Body Weight Core Exercises - to maximize your support and stability for efficient running
    • Run Form Focus - to help you develop efficient form
  • Weekly Feedback on completed training - Allowing the plan to be adjusted based on body feedback
  • Early Access to Training Videos

General Information about Van Run Club

Van Run Club is a run community to help people stay active, healthy and have fun. We started in 2020 in the midst of the pandemic. We noticed that people were becoming more isolated and disconnected. We wanted to create a safe, socially distant opportunity for them to reconnect and be part of a community. 

The social runs and run events like St. Patrick's Day Run and the Easter Scavenger Hunt Run are free for the community. It takes time and energy to create and plan events and develop high quality content. The best way to support this community and help continue to offer this programming is to become a patron. Do what you can and if, right now, all you can do is show up and be present for the community, thats fantastic and much appreciated.
