Milestone Goals
In-Depth YouTube Training
At $1,500/month, I can start to dedicate some of my time to research, create, and launch longer, more in-depth YouTube training videos. Five or six minute videos on Video Creators is great, but I'd love to take 45 minutes to an hour to dive into different topics that are important to you as a creator and move past basic YouTube tips and ideas.
Video Upgrades
Even after the research is done and my videos are shot, many hours still go into editing them for YouTube. If you all support me at $3,000/month, I would love to hire a video editor to take that work off my plate! Almost anyone can edit my videos, but only I can continue to foster the Video Creators community and its content. I'd love to have more time to do that.
I also want to upgrade the production quality of the channel's videos. Sure, my basement is nice and cozy, but it's very less than ideal in so many ways.

Online Training Conference
There's a lot of valuable training at places like VidCon and Playlist Live, but what if you don't have the time and money to travel to those places to get it? I'd love to host online, interactive training conference for YouTube creators who are serious about growing the communities and channels.
A Live Show
I'd love to launch an interactive, weekly live show on Video Creators that gives you access to special guests and the best audience development training and tools that are available for creators.
Local Training Events
People who live in Los Angeles have access to a lot of cool stuff, like YouTube Space LA, training events, and more. But what about all of us creators who live elsewhere? Wouldn't it be cool if a weekend-long YouTube training event came to your city so you could meet and collaborate with other local creators, receive world-class YouTube training, and get access to some production equipment for that special video you've been wanting to make? At $25,000/month, we could start to work on that daunting project and, of course, you'll help us determine which cities to visit.
About
Video Creators strives to help digital leaders effectively communicate their message through online video so it changes the lives of
those who hear it.
I don't want to just help you figure out how to get more views on YouTube. That's lame. Views should be the means to a greater end, not the end in and of themselves.
Instead, I want to help you do something much bigger than that. I want to help you figure out how to change people's lives and make the world a better place through a medium that is perfectly positioned to do just that.

Anyone Can Change A Life
I believe most of the training from Video Creators should be free or at least very affordable because it enables any YouTube creator to spread a message that change people's lives regardless of their financial status.
Why does Video Creators need support?
Your support enables me to invest into producing free videos for the Video Creators YouTube channel while developing in-depth YouTube training resources for extremely low prices.
Most online training resources like mine sell for hundreds of dollars, but I know many YouTube creators have powerful messages to spread that simply cannot afford a $297 video course. Your support enables any creator spread a message, not just creators who have enough money.
Whether it's the stay-at-home mother whose video on how to help a newborn baby sleep through the night brings peace to countless other homes, or it's the high school video gamer who talks about being bullied at school and gives hope to other teenagers, I want to support those messages and the creators behind them, including your own! Your support helps me do that.
It also helps me replace broken equipment, produce higher-quality videos, and free up some of my time to do more important things, like investing time into my wife and kids!
As a supporter, you'll receive many exclusive bonuses each month that are not available to the general public. See below for details.
However, please don't become a patron if you're low on money or are struggling financially. I know what that feels like and want you to take care of more important priorities first. I will continue to make videos that I hope will help you not only change lives, but even earn a bit of extra revenue from YouTube to alleviate some of your financial pressure.
Who Am I?
My name is Tim Schmoyer and I've been active in developing audiences online since my first blog in 2005. I registered a domain out of boredom one night and, within a few years I somewhat accidentally developed it to be of the most popular and authoritative blogs in the niche of youth and family work. From 2010 to 2012 I supported my family full-time from the opportunities the blog's audience provided, including several published books, national speaking gigs, consulting, and more.
During that time I used YouTube to publish videos with the girl who I would later marry. At the time we were just having a good time. Now those videos are known as "vlogs."
Since starting on YouTube on March 2, 2006, my wife and I have created and published almost 2,000 YouTube videos, amassed millions of views, and won several YouTube video contests. I've worked with some of the country's top brands on YouTube and, in 2013, YouTube themselves invited me to become officially certified in "Audience Growth."
I became an authoritative voice in the world of audience growth on YouTube thanks to all the online community development lessons I learned through my blog and to the exposure ReelSEO gave me as the host of their Creator's Tip YouTube series.
Seeing the unmatched potential of video to reach and influence people, I decided to move away from my blog and focus on helping YouTube creators effectively spread their message to reach people online. In 2013 I launched the YouTube channel, Video Creators, to do just that.
It's been so rewarding to hear how the training and resources I've developed have helped so many creators do just that, not to mention seeing the Video Creators community grow from 0 to more than 10,000 subscribers in 2013. Now it's growing at an even faster rate than ever before!
Milestones
These are goals I've had for a while, but I need funds to make them actually happen. So what happens until we reach those milestones? I'll continue the 3 weekly training videos on the Video Creators channel and all your contributions will be directed toward keeping those videos going.
Thank you for your support! I really does mean a lot to me. My family and I really appreciate it!
